Sepia EP Review
by Steve Rudd - Black Velvet Magazine (UK)
Ramming out riff-oriented rock for the masses, Niota ensure 'Sepia' won't
be forgotten for a while given the tune's hammering intensity set alight
by Ben Keenan's beautifully affecting vocals. Exhibiting Pearl Jam's power
to move, this fast-rising band has wowed crowds at headline gigs of their
own and through rock radio airplay.
Their sound is anchored admirably by the guitar breaks laid down by Hugh
Harvey and Andy Pritchard, with a Disturbed-esque tone of heart and soul
drenching the power and glory of Niota's music - music that is like nicotine
to the ears. Boy is it addictive, and once you've heard this you really
will want to hear more as soon as possible.
